Any BSA member can spread the word and invite friends to act
independently or as a group to submit two songfiles by
February 10th, 2005.
-
One line-up can only submit two songfiles but there is no limit to
the number of line-ups a single person can play in. (In
mathematical terms, if all those who participate are considered
to be 'the group', then any number of subgroups are allowed so
long as no two subsets are identical.)
-
One of the two songfiles must be a cover from the Candy-O album
by the Cars. The other songfile must be an original.
-
The original must not have been circulated prior to competition.
-
The songfiles must be in one of the following formats:
- 128-bit mp3
- 192-bit mp3
- VBR mp3
-
The songfiles must have the mp3 tags filled out. At a
minimum, fill out: Song title, Band name, Album name.
-
Song thumbnail graphics are encouraged. Embed them as
part of the songfile prior to submission.
-
Lyrics and song notes will
be accepted as part of the submission.
-
Album cover and/or back art is not submissible at this time.
-
Two prizes have been put up by Guy. The first is
a limited edition Weezer EP "The Lion and the Witch".
The second is a bottle of scotch. Others are free to
add their own prizes to the pot!
